Assistant Dean Crystal Guillory, M.A. shares a few words on Gender Studies and its importance. Dean Guillory will be hosting the 15th Annual Gender Studies Conference at the University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) this Friday from 10 am – 6 pm. It is a student-driven conference that is being produced by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Some of the topics that will be at the forefront of the conference will be gender identity, gender bias, and gender in social media.
